Beauty

“Beauty is about an emerging fullness, a greater sense of grace and elegance, a deeper sense of depth, and a homecoming for the enriched memory of your unfolding life” – John O’Donahue

Beauty is an edge of becoming. The dynamism of the world does not end at the water’s edge of our senses. We stand at a threshold of the universe being aware of itself as much as we are also completely ignorant of much of that awareness. And that is why we must always be curious and question and learn and evolve. This is exactly why we need art.

Art is an essential part of life. It is the instinctual reaction to a belief and discovery of beauty in the world, an articulated mapping of deeper awareness. It reveals truths about ourselves and our world, in intellectual as well as visceral ways. It helps us perceive more fully, validates our convictions as much as it challenges them, and is the collective unconscious, repository, and guiding light of all human experience. It is our purest vehicle to truth, making the ineffable tangible, our connection to something deep that is within ourselves and beyond ourselves.

The Logos, the Word become flesh.”
