There once was a man who spoke in ciphers, offering a pretty prize
to anyone who’d play his games of fleeting flowery verse,
his puzzles were bespoke and strange but had an air to tantalize,
but if you didn’t answer true he’d shun you with a curse!
A woman quite precocious heard of this peculiar trickster
and was taken to the task to play his unconventional game,
not afraid of harm or hexes from this clever mind constrictor
she would enter towards his presence and would fully leave the same.
“I’ve got you now!” the man exclaimed towards this courageous girl,
“This verse remains my finest yet, and no one has come close
towards the answer to my puzzle, to my clever little pearl,
but, dear lady of the mind, you seem quite cleverer than most…”
“I am no one and am everyone, and I can show up nowhere
and can also show up anywhere, and I can also disappear
where there is no light anywhere, but if some light did amplify
and I was faced to face myself, then I will surely multiply.
What am I?”
